Founded in 2000, Action for Health Initiatives (ACHIEVE), Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization based in Quezon City, Philippines. ACHIEVE is engaged in the development and implementation of programmes and projects addressing migration, health, gender, sexuality, reproductive health, and HIV and AIDS issues. ACHIEVE’s main community partners are migrant workers and their families, people living with HIV (PLHIV), women and young people.
Guided by its pioneering action researches, ACHIEVE has implemented framework-setting programme responses on migration, gender, sexuality and HIV and AIDS issues in the Philippines. Through the years, it has successfully implemented projects in partnership with government agencies, international institutions, local NGOs and CBOs and communities. It has also undertaken numerous capacity building activities and consultancies, locally, nationally and internationally.
ACHIEVE is a member of the Coordination of Action Research on AIDS and Mobility in Asia (CARAM-Asia), a regional network of organizations working on migration, health, human rights and HIV and AIDS issues in the Asian region.
