Qualitative Study on Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services and Information of Women Migrant Domestic Workers

This research project aims to generate information on the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) needs and concerns of Filipino women migrant workers and determine the hindering and facilitating factors to accessibility of SRH health care services and information. The study will be conducted in Hongkong, Singapore and Qatar, utilizing qualitative methods such as focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with migrant domestic workers in the three destination countries. The outputs of the research will be utilized in advocacy efforts towards the formulation of policies and development of programmes that respond to the SRH needs and issues of the women migrant workers in the destination countries.
