Social Vision

A society that respects, protects, and fulfills human rights of all people regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, calss, age, health status, religion, and all other status in life.
 
 
Organizational Vision
 
ACHIEVE is a sustainable and competent organization, that serves as catalyst for change in responding to issues on HIV and AIDS, Human Rights, Gender, Sexuality, Health, and Migration.  It endeavors to empower communities of migrant workers and their families, people living with HIV, women and Young Key Populations, using rights-based, gender-fair, and age-responsive participatory approaches.
 
 
Mission Goals
 
  • To promote human rights, particularly health, reproductive and sexual rights of migrant workers and their families, people living with HIV, women and Young Key Populations;
 
  • To mainstream migration and HIV and AIDS as specific areas of concern in policy and program development in the local, national, and regional levels;
 
  • To build evidence on issues relating to HIV and AIDS, Human Rights, Gender, Sexuality, Health and Migration as basis in the formulation and implementation of appropriate responses;
 
  • To facilitate meaningful participation and leadership of communities of migrant workers and their families, people living with HIV, women and Young Key Populations.
 
  • To strengthen capacities of institutions on HIV and AIDS, Human Rights, Gender, Sexuality, Health and Migration issues to improve their policies, programmes and services.
 
 
Programme Goals
 
ACHIEVE, Inc. aims to address issues of HIV and AIDS, Human Rights, Gender, Sexuality, Health, and Migration at local, national, and international levels through:
 
  • Participatory action research
 
  • Advocacy for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, programmes, and services
 
  • Capacity building of partner institutions, including, but not limited to, perspective development, skills building, and attitude enhancement 
 
  • Capacity building of communities of migrant workers and their families, people living with HIV, women and Young Key Populations

 

  • Networking, partnership building, and facilitation of linkages between and among stakeholders and communities
 
 
Organizational Goals
 
  • To continuously develop and enhance organizational capacity through staff development including, but not limited to, perspective setting on issues relevant to the organization, skills building, and mentoring.
 
  • To sustain ACHIEVE’s leadership on HIV and migration issues while concurrently addressing other related issues.

 

  • To ensure organizational sustainability through program development and resource mobilization.
