In partnership with USAID, ACHIEVE is implementing a project entitled ‘Strengthening Civil Society Movement Towards a People-Centered TB Response in the Philippines’. The very first TB advocacy network in the country, the Philippine Alliance to Stop TB (PASTB), has been established through the TB LON Project together with 18 organizations. The member organizations of the PASTB network will undergo a series of capacity building activities to aid in implementing effective advocacy not just for improving or changing programs and policies but also for lobbying for sustainable financing for the TB response. PASTB aims to amplify the voices of people affected by TB by launching a stigma reduction campaign through various activities and platforms
Key Milestones and Activities:
  1. Capacity building of advocates, community trainers, and researchers.
  2. Stigma reduction campaigns.
  3. Knowledge exchange with local and international TB organizations.
  4. Advocacy meetings with decision-makers and policymakers
  5. Community-led monitoring
